Troubleshooting

This page covers common issues in AI Cockpit Lens and the first checks to perform before escalating a problem.

I cannot find an agent, project, workflow, or knowledge base

  1. Confirm that the correct organization is selected.
  2. Clear search terms and filters.
  3. Click Refresh when the page includes that action.
  4. Confirm whether the item was created in the current organization.
  5. Ask an administrator to review your access if the item should be visible.

A list is empty

The environment may not have resources yet, or the current filters may be too restrictive.

  1. Clear filters and search terms.
  2. Confirm the active organization.
  3. Create the first resource from the page when you have permission.

A document upload does not finish

  1. Wait for processing to finish.
  2. Avoid closing the page while upload or processing is in progress.
  3. If an error appears for the document, review the file and upload it again.
  4. Try a smaller file or a supported format when the current file keeps failing.

An import fails

  1. Confirm that the related adapter is configured.
  2. Open the knowledge base and try the import again.
  3. If the project or source list does not load, ask the team responsible for the integration to review the connection.

A workflow does not execute

  1. Confirm that the workflow is active.
  2. Check whether all steps have agents configured.
  3. Confirm that required knowledge bases and adapters are available.
  4. Run the workflow again and review the error message.

The execution result is incomplete or incorrect

  1. Use Quick AI chat to request an adjustment to the output.
  2. Use Edit manually to correct the content directly.
  3. Run the workflow again if the issue appears temporary.
  4. Review the agents, prompts, knowledge bases, and workflow steps used in the execution.

An option mentioned in the docs does not appear

Some actions depend on the active organization, environment configuration, or your account permissions.

  1. Confirm the active organization.
  2. Confirm whether the feature is enabled for that organization.
  3. Ask an administrator to review your role and permissions.

Best practices

  • Use clear names for projects, agents, knowledge bases, and workflows.
  • Write short descriptions so other users can understand each resource.
  • Test agents in the playground before adding them to important workflows.
  • Review generated results before exporting or sending them to integrations.
  • Avoid deleting resources before confirming whether other workflows depend on them.
  • Keep adapter credentials updated.
  • Check the active organization whenever data looks incorrect.
