Integrations

Integrations connect AI Cockpit Lens to external tools through adapters. Each adapter stores organization-level connection details such as API keys, tokens, base URLs, and account information so workflows, knowledge base imports, synchronization, or delivery actions can use external systems.

When to use

  • Use integrations to configure credentials for external tools.
  • Use them to let workflows send results to connected systems.
  • Use them to import project context into knowledge bases when that action is available.
  • Use them to keep knowledge bases synchronized with external project or work management data.

Before you start

  • Confirm the active organization.
  • Confirm that your role can manage adapters.
  • Have the required connection information ready before saving credentials.
  • Review any workflow or knowledge base that depends on an adapter before disabling it.

Step by step: browse adapters

  1. Open the account menu.
  2. Click Adapters or the available integrations option.
  3. Review the cards for the integrations available to the organization.
  4. Click an adapter to open its configuration.

Step by step: create an adapter

  1. Click Add Adapter.
  2. Enter the name, identifier, description, and optional image.
  3. Click Create Adapter.
  4. Open the adapter to configure credentials when a configuration screen is available.

Step by step: configure a work management adapter

  1. Open the adapter.
  2. Enter the base URL.
  3. Enter the account or user information required by the integration.
  4. Enter the API token or access credential.
  5. Click Save Credentials.

  3. Enter the API key or access credential.
  4. Click Save Credentials.

Actions that require care

ActionWhat happens
Clear credentialsRemoves the saved credentials for that adapter.
Disable adapterRemoves the adapter from active use until it is reenabled or configured again.
caution

Clearing credentials or disabling an adapter can stop workflows, imports, or delivery actions that depend on it.

Supported integration patterns

IntegrationCommon use in Lens
JiraSynchronizes boards, epics, and stories into knowledge bases and can create issues or cards from workflow output.
BusinessMapSynchronizes boards and cards for visual work management context and can create cards from workflow output.
Azure DevOpsSynchronizes work items, boards, and backlogs into knowledge bases for Microsoft-managed project context.
ModernizationImports backlog and project status so modernization knowledge bases stay aligned with active migration work.

Expected result

After configuration, Lens should be able to use the adapter in workflows, imports, or delivery actions supported by the environment.

Tips and common issues

  • If an import fails, confirm that the adapter credentials are still valid.
  • If a workflow cannot deliver a result, check whether its adapter is active.
  • If an adapter card is missing, the organization may not have that integration enabled.
